Hadayia Family Tree

This is a 20x24" hand drawn family tree that was drawn by Zaki Naom Hadayia, a cousin of Grandma Bahiga's.   If you haven’t already found how we fit in…look at the bottom right branch of the main trunk (the longest).  It then splits into 3 and our line is the middle branch, Girgis/Elmazi. As you continue down the branch, the 2nd leaf that extends from the top of says “Elias".  This is Elias Hadayia Almaza, who is Great Grandma Bahiga’s father, or Grandpa’s Grandfather.  Confused yet?  Bahiga is not listed, nor is any other female family members, dates or locations.  So while this is a beautiful and informative piece of our history, it doesn’t offer us the information we need to complete ordinance work on their behalf…unless of course we can find that missing info through our own research.

Kambria's Baby Shower in Utah

We had a great time celebrating Preston and Kambria's pregnancy and getting to visit with them on their brief visit back to the Rocky Mountains.  It was fun to have some of the Lomeli's arrive, too!  We enjoyed amazing Lebanese cuisine and talked BABIES!!!  We are so excited to meet this little guy ;)

Photos From Christmas

It was so fun for us to be able to come to Utah for Christmas and also have so many other family members visiting! One of the biggest blessings was going to the temple together. Neither Preston or I have ever done work for our own ancestors. And thanks to Angela and Annaliese's hard work we had names ready to use. It was a very sweet experience for both of us to be able to serve our own family.

And then a huge thank you to Uncle Mark & Aunt Robyn for hosting Sunday dinner in their home. It was fun to be able to see the kiddos and visit more.

Adrienne and Angela gave us such a priceless gift when all the women received aprons made from Grandma's saved material. I got misty eyed thinking of her watching us and knowing she feels joy that our family has so much love in it.

The youngest kids on smart phones cracked me up pretty good!

Thank you family for making our trip to Utah one to remember. Love to everyone!

Love Kambria & Preston

Claire's Baby Blessing!

Hello family!!  Here are some amazing pictures Angela took from last Sunday when Claire was blessed.  We had a full house of family for a yummy luncheon before Sacrament meeting started (since ours starts at 2:30...crazy late).  Anyway, it was awesome but we missed you all that couldn't be with us.  Enjoy these pics!  That Angela sure is talented!
