Easter Dinner

We had a wonderful Lebanese dinner at Ed and Liesa's tonight and we were lucky enough to have almost everyone there! Adrienne brought dessert and we celebrated Kathryn and Kylen's birthdays, too. After talking to Grandma at the farm, we learned that she is not feeling well and would remind everyone to pray for her. I attached some of the entertainment of the night for you to enjoy!

Middle Eastern Cuisine

Hi all! Kambria and I went to a cooking class Friday night that demonstrated some fun Middle Eastern recipes. It was so fun and the food was delicious! We had Pistachio Rose Ice Cream that made us think of Grandpa! Also, hummus with pine nuts, egyptian feta salad, cucumber yogurt dipping sauce and a few more dishes.
I was unaware that there is a Middle Eastern market called Shah razed at 1615 W. 2100 S. This is where the cook bought the hard to find ingredients and where she recommended buying lamb. They also had "thin pita bread" that tasted more like our Syrian bread than any pita bread I've had. We may have been the only family members out here that haven't been to this market yet, but I thought I'd share just in case!
Kambria and I are proposing a Middle Eastern Cuisine night! I'm offering my mother's house to host the event. Anybody interested in preparing a dish...or just to eat?

Elder Gabriel's Homecoming

Here is the moment we have all been waiting for...Cameron is home! It was such a fun experience to witness the reunion between missionary and family after 2 years. Klint commented on how the feeling we all had around Cameron was such a strong witness that he served a very honorable mission. We are so glad he is home and very proud that he has served the Lord and impacted so many people in Brazil with his testimony of Jesus Christ. Welcome home, Cam! We love you!
