Thank you

Just a quick update on our situation...Bart accepted a job offer a few weeks ago and started work as an account executive at Saxton Horn, an advertising company owned by Larry H. Miller. They focus on advertising for mostly Larry H. Miller companies. Bart is over 8 different car dealerships in Utah. He is enjoying a new industry and especially enjoying work outside of the house a lot more (I did a good job of putting him to work while he was around):)
Since it is somewhat of a new industry for him, he is adjusting to being the guy asking the questions, instead of being the guy who has all the answers. It was made pretty clear to him when he was hired, that he was hired more for his leadership and management skills and that he has a good chance of advancement to a more lucrative position in the next year. He has a strong history of proving his worth quickly so I have all the confidence in the world that he will get the job he needs to make what we need to make.
In the meantime, I will be going back to work a lot more for the next 6 months or so to help with things. I am lucky to have Adrienne, my father-in-law, and my good friend to help me watch the kids while I work. It has turned out to be a blessing on both ends.
Both Bart and I want to thank everyone of you for your prayers, fasting and active support. We are sooo blessed to be part of a family who looks out for each other and goes to great lengths to help one another. We look forward to the day that we can offer the same type of support in return. We love you!

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

While we were visiting the farm for Thanksgiving I tried to capture a moment alone with Grandpa and Grandma. I had Grandpa read the Christmas Story from the New Testament and Grandma read a book by Max Lucado. I think it was called You Are Special. These are longer than I thought, but at least you'll get to see them and listen to their voices! Merry Christmas!

Well, turns out we missed out on Grandpa's video afterall, but we still have Grandma!

Thanksgiving at the Farm 2010!!

We were so excited to be able to come up to NY again for Thanksgiving. It's been refreshing to feel a chill in the air believe it or not! We pulled out our coats and sweaters, rented a van:) We had fun stopping in DC and Hershey, PA. Here are a couple of pictures so far from the trip. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

Here are more updates from Elder Cameron Gabriel- this week!

This is Renato, cameron's landlord. He generously gave cameron a pair of shoes to wear as a missionary. Thanks Renato!

Jack-- he LOVED your picture and says that he hopes that you go to Brazil on a mission too!

How is the family? I know we are all praying for Grandma Irene. There has never been a post from the Mark Gabriel family so I figured on this slow graveyard shift, it would be fun to take a stab at blogging.

Well as of now [September 3, 2010] Cameron is serving down in Curitiba, Brazil. Their seasons are opposite the USA and so here is a great picture he sent of him and his companion braving the surprisingly cold weather that is down in South America!

HA HA! Isn't that great?! Well this was two transfers ago and now Cameron is more inland Brazil, with a different companion.

Just for the sake of pictures here are a couple of me! I live in a cute yellow house in Provo with four other girls. We are starting a new school year and although I'm finished with college (for now) roommates still move in and out on BYU's schedule. So here are a few of my roommates!

We are at a BYU single's ward BBQ. The one on the right is Michelle (roommate).

Beth, Bethany(current roommate!), and me at the John Mayer concert [August 31, 2010]. Owl City opened for them and it was a blast!
I wish I had a picture of Mom and Dad. But they'll just have to update about their new "empty--nester" lives. They have been having a lot of fun with their freedom! Love you all! -Annaliese

Family Picture Taken in UT June 2010

Hi everyone,

Well as summer comes to a close, even though it is still unbearably HOT, I am thinking about how lucky we were to see so many of you this past summer. And now that it's been several weeks and we are all back in our busy lives...I thought how about a blog update!

Here's a great shot of those of us that were together on Father's Day I thought everyone would enjoy looking at when they miss each other like I am tonight:( I do pretty well, but once in a while I get a wee bit homesick for the fam....what a GREAT shot!!
