A TON OF PICTURES

The Perfect Beach

We finally found a nicer beach today...one where we wouldn't need to worry about sharks! We went with another family in our ward and had a great time. We are settled in to our condo, and almost done decorating! Here are some photo from the NY Trip, and other recent ones I thought I would share. Love, Jen & Family

Weesa Love Goosa!

I just wanted to report that I've made Goosa TWICE this month, and it's really not as difficult as I always thought it to be. I made it first for my sister-in-law Kristl who just had a baby. The day before my wedding, we had a bunch of it for dinner, so Kristl was so excited to be able to have it again! I found some nice fat zucchini at the store the other day, which doesn't happen too often, so I made some again last night. Kylen and I just love it so much. Thanks Grandma for passing down the food traditions so well, and thanks to my mother for learning it all so well and teaching me.

Well worth the airline drama

After an unimaginable nightmare with United airlines (avoid them at all cost), my children, mom and I were finally able to make it to the farm. I am so glad that my children were able to experience some of the same places and feelings about the farm that my memories are filled with. To sum up our feelings, Sammi puts it best when she whispered in my ear on our last day there, "Mom, can we move here?" And it wasn't just to avoid the flight home. I wish we could have stayed longer, it all seemed to go by so fast.
Although my airline misfortune (did I mention United is BAD) caused me to miss the actual reunion, I feel as though I made it to the best part (and if any of you think otherwise, do me a favor and pretend to agree with me). That Sunday at the farm where we were allowed to hold the sacrament, feel of the Spirit, and share our fondest memories of our beloved Grandparents was so touching to me and I will never forget it. I am so glad I got to share that experience with aunts, uncles and cousins and those that I don't get to see often enough. Thank you everyone for participating and a special thanks to those at the farm who spent countless hours preparing food and accomodations for everyone's arrival. I love you!
As soon as I can figure out how to post photos, I will. And the family photo is under construction at the moment, but I'll keep you updated on my progress!

Use Mozilla Firefox to upload videos!

Well, that only took about 5 minutes to figure out how to upload videos. For those of you who use Internet Explorer, you may have difficulty uploading videos onto the blog. Mine did because I didn't have Adobe Flash Player (which doesn't work with Internet Explorer); all I had to do was install it voila! Note: if you look on my personal blog and you can't see the video clip from June 30th, it will have a link for you to install Adobe Flash Player. If you don't have Mozilla Firefox browser, go to www.mozilla.com/firefox. So, just use Mozilla and you shouldn't have any problems!
