Family Birthdays
You may have noticed that on the right side and down I have added all of our birthdays so we can know whose are coming up. Did you know that you can send free e-cards to people? I think it's really nice to get birthday emails, and you can do them with songs or funny little cartoons. My favorite site to send them from is http://www.hallmark.com/, although there are many others. I'm still missing just a few people on this, but I'm working on it so don't worry...I didn't forget anyone. I'll have them all on there real soon.

Happy Fall!!
Hi family! I hope fall is treating you all well with beautiful colors (and less allergies than what we have here!) My neighborhood is the capital of sagebrush so I'm enjoying and hating it all at the same time.
Thanks to the Lomeli's for starting up your own blog and putting parts of Isaac's letters on it...I think it's so important and I love hearing his stories. He's an incredible example to all of us.
Here's a quick update on Kathryn (quick, right): In the past month or so, she has mastered rolling both ways and even scooting herself forward to grab wayward toys! This past week she's started to sit up by herself for a few minutes at a time and standing with support. I know most babies do the standing thing earlier, but she just had no desire until now. This morning I held her standing up on the floor with her doing most of the work for about a minute! Doesn't sound like much, but it has seriously just been overnight that she's started doing this. I'm a proud and scrambling for babyproof stuff mom! Kylen and I are going to try to get outside before the colors are gone to take some family pictures...I'll be sure to post them when we do. Hope you all enjoy the new background, too! I'll do my best to keep it up.

The smoke is actually rising from his ears.
How old are you now? 92 years old? We need to contact Guinness Book officials to notify them that the record has been broken for how many times a man can tell the same jokes and still be funny. And don't forget to contact that new reality show...how to look like a celebrity. They could use you to do an Albert Einstein look-a-like episode.
I know this post is a little late, but I figured by the time you remembered it was your birthday, this would be right on time! We LOVE you and miss you tons!
P.S. Did you hear about the man who tied a piece of the cross to the neck of a chicken?

O.k. Here it is. I am sorry this took so long. I downloaded three different photo editing software files in attempts to transfer Aaron and Tara into the photo with everybody else. I succeeded in putting them in there, but it's an obvious correction when you print the picture out. It's not so bad on the computer, but I think it's much more obvious if you try to print it out to frame it. The biggest problem was that we took the photos way too late in the evening and the low lighting caused everyone's eyes to dialate just enough to cause "white eyes". That took a few hours of individual eyeball editing. It may just be the perfectionist in me, but I still don't think the corrections look natural enough. So, while cool camaras and cool software are fun, they can't fix everything! Aaron and Tara's photos were done earlier in the evening with better lighting so the resolution looks a lot better.
Sorry everyone, I tried. This just means that we need to plan another reunion when Isaac is back and the Lomeli's can attend, too! Then we can all be in the picture! (and we'll hire a professional to take the photos)
If you want a copy, just rt. click and copy this to your own photo file. Enjoy!

Sammi's First Day of Kindergarten!
I'm up in ID visiting Angela and we're experimenting with video stuff. Here's a video of Sammi coming off of the bus after her very first day of kindergarten! They grow up so fast!
